Firstly, planning your wedding is a minefield in itself. You can easily skip some of the most important things, whilst being distracted by the maybe lesser important tasks.

With my time in the wedding industry and now having attended many wedding fayres in and throughout Bristol, I’ve quite often asked couples this question ” How do you imagine your day to be? ” I’ve heard this same response many times now “I’m not quite sure”. Which in all fairness, is quite an understandable answer. Let’s face it, you are completely spoilt for choice!

It's easy for me to say...

At first I used to get confused by the response of, “I’m not really sure how I imagine my wedding”. Then, with a short amount of time in the industry, I soon came to the realisation that there is an overwhelming choice of wedding suppliers with various packages in Bristol. There are so many options, from design, flowers, favours, colour schemes, new trends etc… The list is almost endless! Where would anyone in your shoes begin to imagine where to start. Probably with pulling your hair out!

On the other hand, it’s really good to meet other like minded suppliers. All providing a phenomenal service, quality product and who really do care about all newly engaged couples. My biggest tip and probably most overlooked area from some couples is price. I also understand you have some sort of budget to work from, otherwise how far do you go? But accepting a wedding supplier in Bristol solely over their cost, is most likely not going to end well.

If you knew the prep that goes into what we all do behind closed doors, I feel you probably would say we are worth double the fees we advertise.

The second biggest tip, is finding wedding suppliers you can create a connection with. This is without a doubt the most important part to creating a perfectly organised wedding.

Furthermore, reading testimonials can give you a great insight into what they have to offer as a service. The only slight downfall is, it is still a paid promotion and some companies find it difficult to express who they are online. Meaning you could, unfortunately scroll past some really exceptional suppliers. Whilst at a wedding fayre, you will only walk past ‘the just feels right supplier’ if you window shop, rather than spending the time to interact with suppliers exhibiting.
